Maybe it is just me, but I get sick of the same dozen buddy buddies playing buddy buddy games in most every race at most every track.
They travel together, eat together, watch reruns of Married With Children together, and if it is like back in my day bed the same race track honies.
I believe back in the hayday of racing most of the drivers (especily the tr/drs) would by today's standards be considered amateurs.
IMHO
It is to the top players,  that understand betting amateurs,  advantage to see the usual suspects out of town.
Look at it this way. You are betting against the puplic namely weekend grandstand Joe .
Joe looks at the program and sees and thinks that Tim T won with this horse last week so this new driver sould do the same, but you know better ,so is not that the perfect case for you to get a good price on your choice?

Every race same 2 or 3 drivers going to the front so they can crab up to let their buddy cut the mile and then pull first up to roadblock the others!

Same drivers every night, yep, and I would rather see that than 7 amateur races at the meds on a friday. They had bad cards on Sundays but nothing this shitty.
