Seems to be what a lot of the bettors are saying. I still like playing the big M but Jeff's rants have gone from semi-entertaining to tiring self-indulged bullshit. Everyone drop what you're doing Jeff's track is racing and if you don't support him you're one unappreciative asshole. As for Hambo day I try to tread lightly on those days anyway, too easy to get caught up in the hype of the day and overspend on shit betting races.

When asked about Thursday night racing, Meadowlands CEO Jeff Gural had this response, "Scott (Warren, Big M racing secretary) carded 9 races for this coming Thursday and I have instructed Jason Settlemoir (Meadowlands COO) and Mike Antonaides (Meadowlands program director) to get through the card as quickly as possible. Forget about drag time between races, forget about pool guarantees, the longer the lights are on, the more money I'm losing."

Race during the day and you solve your lights problem.

Your lousy races start so damn early as it is. By the time I get home, cook dinner and finish my dinner it's already race 8. Why start so early ?

Gural has said that he starts early to accommodate the requests of horsepeople, track employees and gamblers who don't want to stay late at night

Thanks !!
Track employees and horse people that have a long distance to travel can make this request but it is only 2 nights a week. The gamblers are betting from home. Gural lies and says what is good for him.

Pick 5 carryover at Mohawk tomorrow night ($58,787)
That will draw a lot of players and their money away from The Meadowlands.  ngc3 ngc3 ngc3
