Anyone who has been a driver will tell you that that drive would have gotten you called in to see the judges in the old days.  Other drivers do not want to be out there with some clown throwing the lines at a horse and beating him at the end of a mile.....totally clueless and classless with no regard for either the other drivers OR the poor frickin horse.
In fact I saw a judge take away a guys qualifying license for less, and told him that he would do everything in his power to keep that guy from ever getting his license.
The Bongiorno lad has improved greatly since he first started, however driving like that will get him, other drivers and horses injured....it just did.

I drove in less than 1000 races, but I was around the best drivers and not a one of them would drive a horse like that
