Long weekend for me & no action going on so I decided to look at this track, which I rarely ever do.

This guy doing the handicapping, the wizard, wearing a straight hat like a 14 year old kid, is this how you want to promote your product? Like would it be too much to ask to get a more professional looking person, even a cheap suit from men’s warehouse ffs... this is just incredible isn’t it? Or is it a work release program for a parolee or talent from free local access television??

they wouldn't even appeal to anyone between 50-60 years old let alone a younger crowd

So, I read the post that the handicappers should wear a suit and look professional.  Really? 

This is an entertainment industry.  Wizard is a joy and Barry Vic is a real swell straight man.  The bonus is that Wizard has been around long enough to personally know many of the horsemen and can chip in a little color alongside his expert handicapping.  Truth o the matter, I think they should have Wizard in paddock for a pre-race show wandering aimlessly thru the paddock and yukkin' it up w/ the grooms, trainers, drivers and all about current events and day to day chit-chat instead of only horse talk.  might give us the public a chance to meet the behind the scenes people on a personal level.

I have not been  at Miama for a while - however, this guy is a celebrity in the trackside area.  when he walks thru, the fans all hail him.

Fact of the matter is this moribund, retro sport could do w/ a lot more entertainment and a lot less reminiscing about how great the old days were.
