Brown Jug you can do plenty in these markets with no fees in and out. Green energy, ev's, bitcoin and related bitcoin all rolling for the past two months. Believe me a lot better then horse racing by putting money to work. Just remember since the start of the pandemic and the bottom out of the markets in Mar 5mln people a lot sports bettors opened an trading account. It didn't go away when sports came back and has doubled in size by the end of 2020. Now that's amazing!!

you are bang on , some things have had an amazing run
and lets be honest , anyone spending that kind of money on horses likely has far more invested in other things, but there is no rush/thrill in the others
everyone wants to try and breed or own a champion horse

Yeah Brown Jug agree and unless your one of the ultra lucky to bred a champion like California Chrome or got lucky early with yearlings playing with house money. Or to get that same feeling of winning one can just become a coke addict. I have no issue with the guy spending big money to win the race he would like to win...The Little Brown Jug. For those with money it's easy to just spend the money on a ready made 2 or 3 yr old like Jerry Silva. I think he has been part of four Hambo winners.
