I agree.  If Stew is disputing it let's hear the other side.  Was the horse trained to death or not?
And was it set on fire?  Wasn't he suspended for this for a long time or am I thinking of something else?

No, yes and yes.
It colicked and died. He cremated it.
Who knows who or what caused the colic, maybe Marc did and was trying to cover it up.
Either way, the horse "was not trained to death".

So because it wasn't "trained" to death we just look passed the setting it on fire and trying to hide it?  If he wasn't to blame, why dispose of it that way?
Not sure who you're posing the question to but if you're asking me...I say do whatever you want.
I never suggested anyone look past anything, with regards to what happened to the horse.

How many years ago was this?
Maybe as a young kid, he couldn't afford the disposal fees, didn't have equipment to properly bury it or maybe he fucked up and never thought it out like a lot of younger versions of ourselves did in some situations. Dont know the guy personally but he gets results and if drivers were pushed aside for their previous indiscretions there wouldn't be any left

It wasn’t looked over he served a suspension for it. So the governing body applied a suspension to the action. Marc ain’t 20 no more. He learned from his mistake. Which despite what you think he acknowledges and grieves everyday.

So I’m over it. It’s really nice that he’s donating all his driver earnings to a good cause and that his owner(me) will also be contributing on his behalf.

I really understand the fact that he did something wrong. I also understand the fact that he’s learned from it and enjoys being a horsemen as well as I do. Like I’ve said before if I thought my $150,000 of horses was in some kind of danger I have other options. But I’ve seen the live he has for horses.

Hate me too if you like. I don’t need anymore friends. I love myself enough to be secure in my decision.

I agree people deserve a 2nd chance, I misunderstood and thought you were saying it didn't happen.   And thanks for reminding how much you spent on horses.  I'd almost forgotten from 4 posts ago.   tmbz1
You’re welcome. It’s actually a lot less now since I had 2 claimed off me and sold one privately. But I’ll get the update from my book keeping and let you know. Now they can say I’m a liar. And I’ll play defence attorney for that. As the backstretch turns.

We should really start a reality show. Millions to be made on that soap.

o Race 2. Mr. St. Louis was adjudged guilty of violating AGCO rules 22.23.01(a) (indiscriminate action), 22.23.01(b) (excessive action) and 22.23.03(b) (more than acceptable wrist action) while driving STEELMEATREASURE. As this violation breaches the terms of his probation (HRAP 05002 2021), the stayed portion of the participant’s penalty (20 days driving suspension and $1,000 monetary penalty) is reinstated immediately (23 August to 11 September, inclusive) and the participant is immediately suspended until he meets with the Director of Racing (per AGCO Policy Directive No. 5-2009) (Number 1300742).

say what you want I guess he is just not that bright
to be on probation and do that in a race for $6,300 makes little sense

I watched the race in question and I could not really see anything during the race that seemed out of the ordinary.  What rules did he violate?

Stop picking on Marc. He's the greatest driver since Walter Case Jr.
