The comment was tongue- in- cheek. Of course there should be no tolerance from the people on the short end. With that said, people will tolerate almost anything as long as they are getting theirs. It is what enables the cheats. In getting theirs does not always mean profit. In any industry, there are a fair amount of people that will eat a ton of shit just to be part of or identify with the industry.

My kids sent it to me to read .. First and foremost Larry was always a nice guy in any interactions I had with him .. But i believe the tales in his book were highly exaggerated in my opinion and in the opinions of other horseman I knew from that era .. It’s a good bathroom read though
