I have heard she knows the Feds have got her plenty of times on wire taps and this right now is the calm before the storm. You can bet MacNicol and others will be moving their stock once Cassie's piece has been negotiated. Many good horsemen have said from Fraser Downs to Flamboro to WEG and from not just winning races to winning Metro, NA Cup, Breeders Cup, that is some big jump for a girl when she arrived from out west that couldn't rig a horse and overnight was centre stage beating all comers.

Her hubby has been in the business his whole life. I don't think she's getting out of the business, I think she just has so much extra equipment she's selling it off instead of letting it sit & go bad. Just my thoughts

Selling off used equipment is one thing, if she is putting Mark down as trainer in the future then there is fuel to the fire. She has to know if there are tapes of her, she has to remember all the calls to Oakes, Harris, Navaro etc. If she is clean god bless her. Only time will tell.

Two weeks ago the RCMP went to the WEG offices at Woodbine and Clay Horner told them to get a subpoena. When John Fielding has horses with Cassie and he is a director of WEG it's no wonder they are running interference. I think she has obviously been caught on wire taps in the US. and seeing she has spent enough time in the US. over the winter she is not out of reach of the Feds or the SD of NY. even in Canada.

For some of the comments on here already yes i had none in last Saturday i have two three year olds currently , one is off hurt will be back end of season , other is nw 2 or 15k that I’m trying just one more time as a favor for the owner named mcwicked one , if hes good next start fantastic, if hes no good again he will leave , the rest at all 2 year olds and we only got 11 horses total so no I’m not racing often no more sorry , we do have priceless this week we’re just babysitting her for Brandon bates as with Covid he couldn’t come race her
I do not want big numbers no more , i only train 2 and 3 year olds in summer , no winter racing for me and i only want top stakes horses , if that means i have 0 horses or 1 horse for summer i could care less that’s all I’m interested in training any more , I’m not like most trainers as soon as i see there not top stakes performers I’m the first one to tell the partners u need to sell the horse or move it .
I’m very lucky that my 6 currently standing stallions put me in the position I’m in now that i don’t need to worry about training bills

I’m not sure how to tag names for who I’m replying to on here sorry , i don’t see Covid making racing go under , if it did yes most my stallions all for double duty and go down under so they would just stay down under if that highly unlikely event happened , and all my husbands family is from down under and i have toyed with the idea of trying it down there a little bit , they just don’t race near as much as we do and not for the same amount of purse money etc .. hard to make profits on horses imo down under
I no longer accept new clients unless it’s a very very good owner and no known painful traits etc !! Yes my bills are high no doubt , way i do things it’s expensive for sure , my trainers ride 4 a day , my grooms rub 3 each , lowest pay is 700 a week and on books that’s 1k a week i pay out for one groom , i feed a ton of supplants , and got all brand new gear etc .. no doubt I’m expensive, but I’m not looking to pick up new owners at all sorry
Yes i have been to jim fieldings cottage twice , once last year and once two years ago for a few nights , me and my husband had a fantastic time with him and his wife and daughter , place was so nice i wanted to buy my own spot in mustoka , with Covid this summer haven’t been able to make it up there , Iv trained horses on and off for jim and his wife and we are good friends , we also do many dinners together in Florida so u know !
I did not know about my private trips up to meet him though ... man i hope my husband and Tracy Jim’s wife don’t read plop and find this out 😂😂

Examiner is a very very nice colt , i told the new owner and trainer if was me i would give him all the time he needs kicked out and i belive tildren will help him a lot once he’s 4, it’s illegal to use that in Canada on a 2 or 3 year old as there bones aren’t strong enough for it , turn him out and when he’s 4 tildren treatment and i belive they will have a very very nice top class horse for years , they got a great buy and he’s a awesome animal in the barn , hard not to love that colt

I have no clue if Coleman is dirty or not. I do have a solid memory of about 10 years ago when, EPO, shakes, breathing and pain meds riddled the claiming game. Casie , was in the thick of the claiming on all levels. Did pretty damn good, too.

As good as Bill R. could make a harness horse step up.......he claimed 25 and 30 thousand dollar runners at Gulfstream in the early 90's...that were racing well....and couldn't get a check.
And there was no detention barn....and he himself brought them from his barn by truck to the Gulf...and took them to the race paddock before their race.
He quit after a couple of months..and said "these guys are GOOD"

I think Cassie was pretty far from an overnight success. Also, I can't blame her for wanted to slow down, especially when you can afford it. When you run a successful stable its 24/7. Now, alleged trainers like Iceman show up at 9am, jog a few them play cards in they tack room all day...whining about everyone who has success while sporting a .085 average.

A few weeks ago in this same thread we had someone who researched a whole lot to appear as if she was Casie which was BS. the Feds have their rat so she won't be posting anything. When this all shakes out in November and that's when it will be she will be in hiding, a lot of others are going down that could never hold a licence because of criminal background. Why do you think the Coleman/Navarro horse showed up in a 25k claimer at Saratoga this horse was better than that and was claimed she had to clean house.
