That was not a bad price --- my best bet of the night --- thought I would have gotten a better price on the one in the second race...

Mr Burke would like to thank Ohio for the pockets of money ……. Purses GOOD ? depends when you go behind the gate and you're racing for second monies....

Race 8

#4 Another Burke horse - and another that Page asked no trot out of just sitting in the bike in the Q

#7 made an easy move to be pass a tired one and was a gapped second to the Burke horse.

#1 Peggy Sue --- SNeaky --- Galliers really did nothing to let her trot in the Q

Race 8

101,254

I am at work, catching races as I can and missed a couple of pools

I like this 7 in the 9th race.  Perrin.  Tough trip in qualy.  The 5 had the easy trip winning the qualy.  If he gets a trip 7 might just be there.

Race 9

The #5 should be a short price --- he beat the third place Open trotter in race 8 pretty handily... Merriman was sitting chilly....

Long Shot -- #3 -- raced very easy in Q and KK never asked for trot --- not sure if he can go enough, but like I said on Wittyville from the second --- the Q was better than what it looks like on paper... Just not sure he's good enough.

#2 -- Lorentzon horses all qualified pretty good without too much urging.

Race 10 Scioto....pre-FBI investigation the #4 would have been even money and probably have jogged.  I'm guessing he'll quit and I'm hoping the #1 can pick up some pieces.

Nothing stood out in the Q's for the 10th race....

Trumpets looked better than Manny L in the Q.... Aaron was doing a little more chasing, where as Trumpets did it on his own..... But you have the Greeno factor and doubt he gets a perfect two hole trip.

The Chris Beaver horses that Q at Delaware on Wed and Thurs looked good.... not sure how this one will go coming up from the south.

Race 11

#1 -- looked easy going in Q and was beaten by the winner of the 3rd race which was the other division of this NW $3500

#8 Rock The Baby --- shot off the gate and Josh sat chilly to the wire. Not a ton of speed in race.

#4 Artini -- made a rare move to the outside in a Q and was chased my Arod trying to catch the 8

I agree.  This 5 lightly raced last year in the money 6 of 8.  Not sure about that qually at Spring Garden with Artie Dick aboard.  159

Id say that have to be pleased.  I was a little worried with the handle on the 2nd race, but looks like TVG and the gimmicks have picked them up.  Look to be on pace for 1.2 million.  Good to see!

NJ The best
