It is only logical to a harness person. Why would NYRA, with a world of challenges and problems of their own, invest millions in a sunken ship? Where is the up-side for the entity that operates the facility?

not sure what you are referring to

NYRA sells Aqueducts land and pockets hundreds of millions and need to invest some very small fraction of that to winterize and rig the training track for harness one mile oval at Belmont

totally agree.... but if yonkers racing lives on long term , it will happnin at Belmont

of course nobody wants tracks... that’s why there is talk of imploding both Aquaduck and Yonkers and shoe horn all into the blossoming Elmont complex

that gets rid of two tracks and they obviously expand their existing sites to full blown casinos with card games and craps
