Protest to end horse racing
« on: April 10, 2019, 06:40:34 PM »
This guy who runs this organization has his sights set on ending ANY TYPE OF HORSE RACING! A real selfish, ignorant POS! Where is the pushback from the horse people ? Seen monday protesting at Santa Anita. Don't let harness racing in this country run into a situation in maine where they almost got shut down!

Equus, with all due respect, only because I think you are a respectable poster, I ask is anything written on their placards untrue?...……….I know that you may think they are fruitcakes, but in America, there is a history of peaceful protests, you may disagree with them, but I think they have the right to speak their mind...……...as for ending horse racing, I think horse racing is doing that to itself

These people want to tell everyone else how to run their lives, they think they are eletest.
A racehorse is fed well, cared for daily and live in a very clean stall. They are usually
turned out everyday and worked to keep them tight. After every race they are bathied
and there legs are wrapped and usually blanketed. The only negative thing is drugging,
but the industry is cracking down with new tests. There will come a time when it will
be next to impossible to drug a horse through new drug testing

A view from the Tracks eye. What do you think the view is from a no supporter of horse racing?
