We don't know what happened to VEGAS.
My last communication with him was he was going to head up to SUBIC BAY VA clinic.
He was living way south in REBEL country. He did tell me. HE NAVY and 78 and never took any MEDS.
That said. Expired or CAPTURED.

His name was Jim Cash. I first met him around 1975. He was a Veteran but was not active after his initial tour. Jim was one crazy dude. Loved action and women. Jim was in the thick or close by on almost every score that went down at Roosevelt Raceway. He was close friends and confidante of many leading trainers and drivers. He owned a number of paceres over the years. For years, he and former top trainer La Cava, would fly from LI to Atlantic City weekly. Jim owned a bar in Westbury, LI a couple miles from the track. I spoke to "Cash Bonus" right up to his disappearance. I checked every local newspaper for his obituary for months. I have never found out exactly how and where he went. RIP Jim. A real mans man.
