$60. A DAY = $1,800.
$100. shipping and paddock times 4 = $400. racing every week.
$100. shoes 2x per month. = $200.

I will train  your horses for $500.00 per month ,below is the services you recieve
#1.horses will stay in the barn on rain and snow days.
#2 horses will stay in the stall if it not above 65 degrees.
#3 horses don't  get fed before I get home from the Casino.
#4 horses use the same equipment. ( all I can afford)
#5 Truck horses at 32 miles per hour when I have time.
#6 feed horses with grass clippings from my lawn.
#7Owner must agree  to let me haul horses with there truck.
#8  shoeing is done by me no trimming, Note !! I use Duct tape staples to apply shoes.
#9 I use Dr. Crank-em for the vet . Owner must pay him with Weed and Crank
#10 Owner must meet me at the rest area with the juice just before  the track gate.

Years ago  the saying was...

Fancy barn, $100/day plus manure rights.
Not so fancy barn, $75/day plus manure rights.
Average barn, $50/day plus manure rights.
So so barn, $30/day plus manure rights .
Bad looking barn, $20/day and there ain’t no manure.

Fair is fair

Do the numbers. All you guys trash trainers of all types. SOME work hard and deserve to get paid. Everyone knows it's a high risk investment business. Feed is 22 a bag and all horses eat the same amount. About 300lbs a month. 150
Groom 400 month
Hay 40/60 month
Shavings or straw 50/80 month so the trainer at 50 a day makes about 500 month profit off training and supplies all the EQ and 60/80000 for a rig. Bonus is 5% and makes a little on shipping but again trainer has a ton tied up in eq and truck and trailer. If owners dont feel the trainer should get paid for his time, do it themselves. Some owners think they know everything anyway
