I occasionally watch some Pocono races.....and a few YR.....


The Allard horses do jump up quite a bit at Pocono.....


not so much at YR.....


I have always had my suspicions regarding the use of designer state of the


art drugs by Allard.....but just a gut feeling.....I could be totally out to lunch.


I could not say I am 100% correct.....or even 70%.   


I hope he is clean for the sports sake......but if he does "juice" his starters....


as they say......wouldn't it eventually come to light?


He is fairly high profile......


His horses do exceptionally well at Pocono....always have a little extra "go".


Is he willing to risk his entire reputation and livelyhood to 


get into the winners circle?


And ..in the event he does use something extra......what is it?


or what could it be that would elude all the modern day testing?

Allard has gotten Multiple Positives. He also has a beard that races Monitcello/Saratoga by the name Dolores Basilone. If you want to find out how/why they continue to allow him to Race, please feel free to call the judges at Pocono, Yonkers, Monticello (mention Dolores) and please let us know the outcome!

This may come as a shock for some. But knowing Rene, he's actually an excellent horseman. And I mean the whole package that comes with that. As for what guys do to gain an edge, every damn one of them do it. Difference is at what level are they willing to go. But they aren't handing any halos to anyone when it comes to complete innocence. That you can blame on the individual commissions, and just forget about the USTA. What you see is what you get.

  OK....I will tell u a good story about a horse named Less Tired....



       Some jerkoff bought him at a Liberty Bell Sale for $7600...1975

      He had been racing at Fox(5/8)  outside of Boston...

      He was a 6 yr old Bret Hanover gelding.

      (Boston Red Sox by the way win the world Series in 2018).

      In any case....the horse started at Monticello driven by my old buddy

     Louie Gigante.....His Uncle was a well-known mobster always

     in the headlines.....if any of you are old timers.

    Louie drove the horse square and when "LessTired" came down to YR....they

    had a young guy no one knew at the time come down from Monti to drive

    for a guy named Vinny Aurigemma.....the driver.....what was his name....

    uh ..oh....oh yeah.....Catello Manzi...thats right...

    Well,  6 weeks later the horse is up to a $33k Claimer at YR from 18k...

    So, I guess u could say he won a few races...


    About 6 months later after a layoff....the horse raced at RR...first time modified sulky...


    Del Insko drove.....15-1 ML ......

    Wraps off  wire to wire  drew off by 8 lengths.....breat hing fire.

    Not sure what the heck the horse paid ...but.....hmmm.. ..oh  yeah....


     $16.40 was pretty close.....very close......

    Now ,all I remember is that some schnook  from Queens, NY beat 5 or 6 NY bookmakers

    for around $60k on that race and they were all pissed.to say the least.

    and even though the books didn't want to pay ....they found out the bad news

     rather quickly .....that  they had to pay....Lifes a bitch aint it.
