dozens of 14 yr olds race every year. this horse doesn't know how much money he has made. he does know he likes to race. 14 too young to retire a sound horse. bad rule.

The horse knows he like to race?  Does the horse know how unsuccessful he has been the last 2 years?  Brett favre lived playing football but he retired

Granted, it was a class/race written solely for him, he still blasted out of the gate, had to settle for the 3 hole. Then grind first over against a stubborn foe. There were actually a couple horses in there that had made 40k and 70k this year. He went a big trip for any horse. Let alone a 14 year old. He’s a treasure.

A horse who has made over 7 million in its career should be racing at 14? That’s gross in my opinion and a shame!! It’s like watching Derek Jeter trying to play baseball at 50!! Yeah ok. Fucking idiots I would say!!!

I don't understand this logic. If he were up against the top horses in the country, i could see your point. These past 4 months or so have been all for the fans. racing at fairs and small venues so, people can pay tribute to the worlds greatest earning harness horse. I think Burke and company are doing a great service to the game.

Take him to the Jug and let him lead the post parade for the big race.

People who care will go crazy.

The Jug folks called to thank me...
