I remember every Sunday morning after the Gural Regime took over, how they bragged about how huge their handle was, patting themselves on the back for all the great things they were doing. Now it is everyone else's fault for the falling handle, refusing to criticize themselves for putting on crappy racing cards.  So what if they lose a couple of Million a year, their track owner is a multi millionaire, he can afford it, many times over

WE should bring ex-Governor Christie back for a few days....and have him and his people CLOSE  Exit 16W  for good !

Instead of telling us how M1 did year over year, or week over week............. .............

why don't you tell us how much better the M1 handle was compared to Yonkers ??

Big M handle continues to plummet at the home where only the chosen cheaters can compete.  Should be boycotting that dump

Nice statement Darren

I passed it on to Jason so he can show Jeff how you feel about M1

Does your attitude, expressed above....have any effect  on your on air comments about races at the New Meadowlands ??
People who are paid to talk about races should be able to find something good to say about racing.  Tell us about  all the trainers who race at Poconos........yo u claim to be very knowledgeable

Why don't you remind us about all the good things you accomplished while you were working there ? It would take you very long to do so

Meadowlands handles are head & shoulders above anywhere else in the U.S.  They offer interviews, handicapping, and several gimmicks to entertain patrons at the track.

I certainly don't agree with ALL of Gural's business practices.  But anyone with half a brain can see how much more The Meadowlands tries to promote the sport than all of it's competitors COMBINED.  Had New York contributed some of it's slot money into promotions, Yonkers racing would've been in a much better place.

Then why is the Big M handle in a free fall?  Has HE chased away the real fans of Harness Racing with the circus like side show?  I see there was a larger crowd at a Jackson Michigan event, where there was NO Wagering, No weiner dogs, No Camels, No sand box digging, No phony Mexican waving the flag.

Shows that Jeff should drop the overnite part of his racing schedule and only have cards saturated with hi quality steaks races
