Lets see if the Northfield judges are equitable.
« on: August 18, 2024, 11:57:21 PM »
Arod tossed his whip into the into the infield at the close of race 15 as he was crossing the wire.

Justin Irvine got 30 days for that. Aaron actually was far more animated in his toss. Not sure what was bothering him.

I thought the Irvine days were ridiculous. Curious if they will penalize AAron.

You better go watch replay - he just fist pumped.  Whip never left his hand.  He was jaw jacking who ever was 2nd

If this is true, the judges can at the minimum fine him for 'talking' on the track and perhaps more if they deem this as an "unprofessional" conduct.

I believe it was his first win of the night.  I think he was frustrated.

He was having a really bad night after a unproductive weekend. Beaten several times driving odds on favs.  I think he was just celebrating finally winning one. We all have nights like that.

I stand corrected. He did not throw the whip.

Clearly took both lines into his left hand to fist pump prior to the finish line.
