They have the DNA on the underwear, what’s the holdup on genetic genealogy testing?  They should be able to solve this case but do they want to?

DNA would have to come from someone not living at the home where the clothes could commingle.  Then you possibly have a very good case.

That’s exactly what they have.  It’s known as “Unknown Male 1”.  It has not matched anyone tested for the case nor anyone on CODIS.  That’s why genetic genealogy is the answer.
