Beau Jangles 3.7 Million!Sorry that the under bidders were none of then Mark Ford and Steve Jones! BOOM! Somebody from New Zealand ended up with him.
Since you bid on coffee shop Hanover for 850k, how much did you bid on beau jangles? As for myself, I started work at 11 am so I wasn’t involved at all!
don't shoot the messenger!
"Somebody" lmao.It was John Curtin, maybe the best known agent in the world.
give John my best
It makes a lot of sense that he might go to stud in New Zealand; unlike Australia and the United States, they do not limit the number of mares (i.e. Sweet Lou has serviced as many as 250+ in a year). So, the economics might be something like this (assuming they don't race him any more): for the first three years, until it is really known if he is a top producer, he can do 250 mares/year at e.g. $7,000, which is $1.75mm/year for the 3 years which will "net" return their purchase money. If he is successful they might raise the free and have many years of a high ROI; if he flops, they have recouped their money.
Do you just come on here to make up lies? Fat Ford may wanna eat the horse but he was not buying him. FYI Steve Stewart and his group were the underbidders. I was right beside them. In fact u may find that they will be part of the ownership group with John.
