Scioto is 'LISTING' 26 minutes between posts tonight which you know will turn into 28-29.
They'll be, shall we say. 'LIMITED' wagering there. 20 minutes is 'MORE THAN ENOUGH'.
SO take those 8 minutes times 12. Over an hour and half pissed away in the wind and cold
for nothing. I guess that's why harness racing is thriving.

bet late thinking that if they actually met it, they might start the fucking race.

So race 9 went off at 10:03 , 27 minute later than their projected time of 9:36, which was set at 26 minutes a race.
With being behind that much, it puts them at 29 almost 30 minutes a race which I predicted. Completely unnecessary.
That's really gonna draw in the 'younger crowd' , which is the typical statement when talk of what is needed for
improvement. In addition, even with die hards nearly 6 hrs for less than a half hour of actual race time and cards ending
near midnight is growing extremely tiresome and running off many of the dwindling number of fans. Evidenced by the
scant turn out there tonight, bad weather or not.

5 1/2 hours for a 13 race card is beyond ludicrous and does more long-term damage than that extra $2K in handle is worth.
Inexcusable IMO.  Turns people off and they don't come back.

Track management actually thinks that the solution to dwindling interest and handle and market share is to drag out the races even longer? Holy fck unreal.
