My thoughts exactly, I didn't hear a reason, but whatever it was........... we should have been notified sooner.....

I believe it was Cal-Expo that let you pick alternates if any of your horses were scratched in vertical bets, (1 alternate each race)

Yes, I think 99% of the tracks do that, but I rather have the choice than the post time favorite,

Tonight the status quo worked, but thats not always the case............
