 im the contrarian here....i dont think Rozema was that good....Middleton might be lured back...but Nathan Bain goes to London and Sugar Doyle goes to Mohawk...only guessing here

anyway Rozema has a habit of jumping ship...was the Manager at grand river raceway..lasted barely a year...then went to be a judge at AGCO...that didnt last either
i predict he will be back in the booth by this time next year....if not, then babbling away with Waples on the pregame show.....and im guessing that even Waples will get tired of this gig and will go within a couple of years...

Chad calls 4 nights a week. Was this a way for WEG to not make him full-time? Lots of tracks are cheap. It sucks losing good ones...because are so few of them left.

If Sugar doesn't want to give up the schedule/locale at London I could see someone like Kenny Livengood making the move up from Northfield.

Sadly isn't much of a succession plan in Ontario announcer-wise.

Agree that Nfld announcer is excellent. Guy at Buffalo not too bad. The fill-in this week for Mike Bozich at Harrah’s Chester was pretty good, though he threw a few too many facts in during the call.
Question- the back-up for Gabe at The Red Mile did a pretty good job this month. But I have never heard the finish line called, as he did, “ the rebuff line”. I know what the word means, but in this context… ?
Surely, there is a knowledgeable Plopper who can supply the answer. TIA

i used t watch Waples and Rallis on the pre game show...but recently i stated to mute them, and finally did bother watching
too many "at the end of it" and "getting the job done" and "looks good out  there" and not enough nitty gritty handicapping....b ut im guessing that was,nt the mandate....but rather to shill for the pick 5,s

Not really sure why Middleton left in the first place to become a trainer, not much money there with a small stable of cheaper horses.

He was always a trainer then had a serious injury.
