If anyone thinks Gural didn't orchestrate this "saving the meadowlands" so he could cash in for billions once the casino arrives, then you are an ignorant idiot. This guy has millions and doesn't give one shit about the average horsemen. He's in it for the casino and once he gets it, he will fuck all the horsemen in the proceeds.

It is all BS. He knows that the casino is not in his control.
He's just trying to keep horsemen in the state cause if they leave, % of getting the casino getting on the ballot goes down.

If there is no casino in the future, can he sell the sports betting parlor there and recoup all the moneyn he says he has lost over the years.  Any idea of what the sports betting company there is worth? I'm sure a lot. They say it does more than Vegas.

Gural must do well with the sportsbook there. He says he donates about $2-$3 million from the sportsbook profits to the purse account each year. I'm sure there are far more profits there than that. Can't he just keep it there and make millions a year and recover all his losses, and then he and his family have a cash cow for the future
