It's more price gouging than anything even though pump prices are always slower to catch up but that's by design because the retailers are greedy because they know they have you by the balls. I don't drive much so a tank of gas lasts all month for me. As of today, gas prices in my area are $4.35, down from a high of $4.39 last week.
