THIS IS HILARIOUS: Republicans are losing their minds over the Buffalo Bills playing the Canadian national anthem, and it says everything about where their priorities are.
The Bills opened their brand new $2.2 billion Highmark Stadium Thursday night against the Detroit Lions, and ahead of kickoff, Toronto based band Barenaked Ladies performed O Canada, followed by Auliʻi Cravalho performing the Star Spangled Banner.
It wasn't a political statement. It was a thank you.
Canadians make up a massive part of the Bills fan base. As of last year, Canadians held 8,000 season tickets, and 18 percent of the new stadium's personal seat license deposits came from Canadian fans who cross the border to cheer on their team.
The Bills have also long played O Canada before Sabres hockey games in Buffalo, given the city sits about two hours from Toronto.
But because this happened while Trump and Canada are locked in a tariff standoff, some Republicans and fans online treated a pregame tribute like a national crisis.
Here's the thing.
Canada is one of America's closest allies and closest neighbors. Buffalo fans just showed more gratitude and grace toward their Canadian supporters in one night than certain politicians have shown in months of tariff threats.

Would you be happy if they did away with the 2 party system and everyone ran as an Independent? It would do away with alot of hate from people and help the country run better instead of how it is now with all the gridlock and finger pointing by both parties.

I feel both parties do a lot of crying, finger pointing and blaming each other. As far as using the word "hate" I see no problem using it on this forum to make a point. Don't kid yourself, there's a lot of hate shown to the opposing party on a daily basis and alot of it is shown by newspaper columnists.in their stories on a daily basis.

Being totally neutral and objective when it comes to politics I feel both parties are equally at fault in their strong dislike for the other party

We agree to disagree on the word “HATE”. Before you say that the words we agree to disagree means I’m right/you’re wrong or vice versa’, it’s a matter of each of our perspectives.
“HATE” causes for division not unification!
FYI, it wasn’t as bad years ago when each party disliked each other. Reagan and Tip O’Neill had dinner with each other after doing their jobs politically for their respective parties!  Trump has made this worse. Can this be repaired?  Time will tell!

Prior to all the talk shows which discuss politics people didn't discuss politics much, now alot of people talk like they're experts. Alot of the discord is the result of people like Hannity and Laura Ingraham whose job results in animosity to the other party. Same goes for the Republican owned NY Post whose communists spend page after page ripping anything a Democratuc politician says or does, it is complete overkill with all the hate they spew daily .
