Monticello Race 4

Hard to believe this "race" was allowed to stand and be declared "official".
The #1 horse breaks in the first turn - causes the #5 to break and the #8 goes wide to avoid the breaking horses. And to make matters worse the driver of the #1 horse is on the track for the entire race -with the starter's car on the bottom of the track-mid turn?
I had the "winner", so it had no effect on me....but I thought the race should have been declared "no race".
Any thoughts???

What took the outrider so long to catch the loose horse ? if that was the outrider that Batavia / Buffalo raceway has , missy rothfuss , that loose horse would have been caught immediately, she ones of the best in the business!
