MY POSITION ON DONALD TRUMP

Make no mistake…it’s okay if you disagree with me. We are all entitled to our own opinions.

I supported Donald Trump then, and I support him today.  I live in Oklahoma, the ONLY state where Trump won every single county all three elections he ran (2016, 2020, & 2024).

Do I think Trump can be a jerk? Absolutely.

He’s a Queens, New York guy. He’s blunt, crude at times, impatient, competitive and a hothead. Hit him and he usually hits back twice as hard.

Has he made mistakes morally, personally and professionally? Of course. So have I. So has every politician and every person reading this.

Do I agree with everything Trump says or does? NO.

I don’t need to.

I don’t support Trump because I think he’s perfect. I support him because I agree with much of what he is trying to accomplish for America .

I wanted a President who wasn’t another polished career politician telling everyone what the consultants and pollsters told him to say.

Trump communicates directly with Americans, often bypassing traditional media altogether. Sometimes I wish he’d say things differently. Other times I appreciate that he says exactly what he thinks.

He’s confrontational. He’s unpredictable. He’s certainly not politically correct.

That’s also part of why millions of Americans support him.
He challenges the Washington establishment, both Democrats AND Republicans. He asks uncomfortable questions. He demands results. And he isn’t afraid to fire people or change direction when he believes something isn’t working.

Most importantly, I believe in the basic philosophy of AMERICA FIRST.

Secure our borders.

Put American workers first.

Bring investment and manufacturing back to America.

Produce American energy.

Demand fairer trade.

Stop expecting American taxpayers to endlessly carry everyone else’s burden.

Keep America strong enough that our enemies think twice before challenging us.

Do I agree with every decision made under his administration? No.

But those are principles and policies I support.

And after watching Trump serve as both the 45th and now 47th President, my position really hasn’t changed:

I don’t need my President to be my pastor, best friend or role model.

I need him to fight for the country.

I’d rather have a President who occasionally makes me cringe while pursuing policies I support, than a polished politician who says all the right things while pursuing policies I don’t.

I’m also going to give him credit when I believe he gets something right.

I don’t blindly follow Donald Trump. I support him because, on the issues that matter most to me, I believe his agenda is closer to what I want for this country. He’s the lessor of the evils who could have been elected
.
He is my President.  46fzlag

I didn't vote for Trump either time, in fact in 2024 I left the box for President blank.
Even if the President is someone you can't stand, I feel you shouldn't spend every lasting hour bitching and complaining about everything he says or does and that goes for whoever the President is. Rooting for him to fail or against him shouldn't be your top priority. Hope he does well so the country can prosper.

Here we go!

Does anyone really care he won every single county in all 3 elections!  73cv.2

He’s been a jerk the majority of his life!

Blunt and crude are mild descriptions!

He’s made many mistakes morally, personally, and professionally!
How many failed marriages and ex-wives?  Flaunting the next one in front of the last one!  How many bankruptcies?  How many criminal convictions?

He’s put America in worse shape than his predecessor!  He continually blames his predecessor for issues and problems of today!

A failed businessman with bankruptcies and screwing over others in business deals shouldn’t be POTUS. A jail cell is a better place!

He constantly lies to all Americans!
How many checks have been sent it?   73cv.2

He ruins fair trade every time he addresses it!

Trump only fight for his own interests and not anyone else’s!

Starts a war without munitions!
Iran is winning now!

Role model?   ngc3 ngc3 ngc3  A total disgrace in this department!!

We all cringe every time he opens his mouth and falls asleep on duty too!

He doesn’t get many things right. Things get worse, not better!
Some of the might be irreparable!

This country would be in much better shape if someone else was elected!

Unfortunately he’s the POTUS
Wait til his term is over so we all see for ourselves how bad it was with Trump as POTUS!  The day is around the corner!

I did think during Trump's 1st term there was a chance he'd be assassinated. Also think it's possible he won't finish this term due to health issues because he looks like shit.

My reasons for supporting him as well as disagreeing with him. I do not blindly support him either.

I agree with his CLOSING THE SOUTHERN BORDER.
I agree with his SUPPORT OF ISRAEL.
I agree with his SUPPORT OF LAW ENFORCEMENT.
I agree with his SUPPORT OF DOMESTIC ENERGY PRODUCTION.
I agree with his SUPPORT FOR ONLY WOMAN IN WOMAN SPORTS.
I agree with his ARREST OF NICOLAS MADURO.
I agree with his SUPPORT FOR NASA.
I agree with his WAR WITH IRAN.
NOW FOR THE OTHER SIDE.....
I disagree with him MAKING FUN OF EVERY WORLD LEADER WHO DISAGREES WITH HIM.
I disagree with him PROMISING MONEY TO AMERICANS BUT NEVER DELIVERING.
I disagree with him MARGINALIZING OUR LONG TIME ALLIES.
I disagree with him SUING/ATTACKING EVERY POLITICAL OPPONENT.
I disagree with him DEMONIZING ALL PEOPLE HERE ILLEGALLY.
I disagree with him NOT HAVING A BETTER PLAN FOR FOOD/GAS PRICES ONCE THE IRAN WAR STARTED.
I disagree with him FOR THE HAPHAZARD/INCONSISTENT WAY HE HAS TARIFFED OTHER NATIONS.

So there you have it. Time will be the true decider on his place in history.

That's why they need to have age restrictions. I understand people ripped Biden because they didn't think he was all there, but what do you expect from someone that age especially someone with previous medical issues. His ego made him seek a 2nd term when he was obviously going downhill fast and the polls said, don't run.

I respect your point. We can't expect to change anyone's mind on their political views. To much polarization from both sides. One major difference between rainman2 and gogasgoboom is that rainy does not wish for the death of President Trump. The other guy does. Granted, rainy doesn't like him. And that's fine. The other guy.....well..... you know.....

I agree on age restrictions too! There is no 80 year old as sharp as they were at 60. And we need term limits too!
