Sale meeting luncheon at Delancey’s!
« on: September 10, 2026, 07:28:00 PM »
I recently shared lunch at Delancey’s with Steve Jones, Mark Ford, Joe Faraldo, and Howard, where the primary topic of discussion was the upcoming sale at the Mark Ford Training Center.

During our conversation, the topic shifted to an anonymous online critic (SCM) continuously frequenting the Horse Plop forum. The consensus around the table was clear: despite the individual’s persistent criticism of industry leaders and frequent complaints to race offices and officials, his commentary remains largely disregarded by established professionals.

We reflected on the irony of someone devoting so much time to obsessing over industry figures who have built successful operations, concluding that such behavior often stems from a lack of personal accomplishment and a fundamental issue with authority.

Also noted,, if it wasn't for us paying our taxes he couldn't collect his welfare checks.

Oh yes in regard to the tractor on the Goshen track:  I've been reading the criticism. Listen up dummies, first Steve Jones has nothing to do with driving the tractor.

Second people make mistakes and I'm sure all the critics have made multiple mistakes in your life just look at the top critic.

Third must be thankful they had races at Goshen.

I had a repost this I hope you don't mind!

This was fucking hilarious!

ScrapeThePaint: Mike Petrelli diagnosing harness racing is like a backseat driver using a plastic toy steering wheel to tell the chauffeur how to navigate a blizzard. He acts like he holds the blueprint to standardbred perfection, but the second real trainers walk into the barn, Mike disappears into the shadows—probably trying to remember if a harness attaches to the front or the back of the horse!! THIS HAD ME LMAO! Please forgive me this is one of the funniest posts of the year!!

Now that's a burger even you can afford
Best time of year watch the young horses racing for great money. Nothing better than following the horses, going to wherever their next stake is, with family.
