Big card.

The International is usually an enigmatic race. Diva Ek (IT) was second last year, Powwow (NO) finished third, and Gio Cash (DE) finished fourth-----and all are back this year. Melander has a pair in there, as does Burke. For the conspiracy theorists and realists, remember, the NYGC is running the detention barn, and it is for all races on the card. Good luck all!

I've been to a couple. It a nice way to reconnect with harness friends/acquaintances, like Hambo Day @ M1
And now that I'm retired, I thought that I'd be a lock to go.
But..... Saturday is a non-starter for my tribe.....
I doubt George Morton Levy would have scheduled the International at Roosevelt on that day if the situation/conflict arose...
Who do I see about that?

ngc3 I am not sure
That is one thing I really enjoy about LBJ week
I see acquaintances, friends and family that I do not see for an entire year
People I bump into in town occasionally but I always see at the fair
We always have a lot of visitors stop by our box

I do have family coming to Maine from NYC and Jersey for the Jewish holidays. And yes, Saturday is a non-starter for me too. But I will be rooting for Rainman2's horse. Racing in a $300,000 race. I'm excited for him and hope he wins!

Trip & stamina is big with that many turns. As for the North Americans- I think Super Chapter can be tough in there.

How did Hooker Berry get an invite?

Best time of year watch the young horses racing for great money. Nothing better than following the horses, going to wherever their next stake is, with family.
