the pick5 was $9.82 for 20 cents. thats $98.20 for a $2 bet, which is 48/1. Not spectacular but not awful at all. Let's use some common sense and basic math skills before spouting off stupidity.

good grief.

Harness racing's biggest failure is to provide a product that is conducive to wagering. There are thoroughbred county fairs with four horse races where nobody is odds-on. Putting stakes races aside, if you have an odds on favorite in every 8 horse race that is a failure to classify your horse population effectively.

I wish just one track would take this seriously and shake things up. I realize the issue with post position is a uniquely harness racing issue, but at least get rid of the ridiculous NW$x in L5 races with seven other optional conditions races. Maybe my memory fails me, but I don't recall anywhere near the number of odds on favorites under the old A-B-C conditions.

He acts like he holds the blueprint to standardbred perfection, but the second real trainers walk into the barn, Mike disappears into the shadows—probably trying to remember if a harness attaches to the front or the back of the horse!! THIS HAD ME LMAO!!
