Nothing new here. Video was taken this morning, John McDermott behind the animal. Progressively worse as the week went along, so I snagged some video and sent it to NYS Gaming. Isn't the first time either, but then again who really cares about these animals in pain around here, right? Maybe they'll force him to provide a vet report like they did Ray last year. Nobody who works or is stabled there can complain or we all know what happens then. HOWEVER....I can!!! BTW, I also have some questions as to why the board voted down the Police vs. Firefighter tug of war that was to be held there next month??? I was approached today by a gentleman in the Village about it who was looking for me knowing I am well versed in how that non-profit works. He was quickly enlightened and we'll be talking again very soon....

Some NYS Penalties

Revocation & Asset Dissolution: The Attorney General has the power to revoke the charity's registration and bring a special proceeding to judicially dissolve the organization entirely for systemic fraud.

Charity Fraud & Grand Larceny: If the misleading solicitations involve intentional deceit to steal money, individuals can be prosecuted under New York Penal Law for Scheme to Defraud or Grand Larceny. Depending on the amount stolen, these are felonies carrying prison terms of up to 20 or 25 years."

"While separate from state enforcement, if the IRS determines that the 501(c)(3) operated for a fraudulent purpose or that leaders engaged in "private inurement" (pocketing the money), the IRS will revoke the organization's tax-exempt status and impose steep excise taxes on the individuals involved."

I honestly wish you would get your facts right and do any type of inquiry before you post incorrect allegations and topics. How can anyone take you seriously if you just throw out videos without fact finding.  The horse in the video is Hurrikane Emperor. There is no intention to race him or train him and once a year like last year instead of sitting in a field he is brought to the barn to get a little exercise and make him feel like a horse. You posted this same topic last year. Being a stallion is a lonely life and being part of a barn and with other horses for a short period of time makes many of them happy. McDermott should be applauded and not disparaged for actually caring about a horse he raised.
