In New York State, there is no statewide mandate that home economics be required for boys in high school. It is generally an elective, but some districts or schools may still offer it as part of Career and Technical Education (CTE) or as a life skills course.

This was how many years ago drew.

Also 1/2 year of health was required.

That was then, this is now!
