I was at Mohawk in the weekend and had dinner with 3 Canadian owners/partners on the weekend. All 3 are declining to go to the USA due to  our economic actions against their country. Do you think this effect is a common one in Canada and will it have a potential effect on the sales?

They will buy if they are buying as they have no choice. That canadian sale cannot compete with lexington and harrisburg.

big time owners will still buy in the USA to get the grand circuit pedigree
most owners in Ontario will reduce USA purchases
the money is very good in Ontario and you do not have to spend a fortune to participate in it

Lexington is down from 116 to 67 Canadian bred horses this. Harrisburg must be full of them or the breeders decided to sell in Canada.

I think it depends how long we fuck with the Canadians,and start to bargain in good faith and stop trying to bully them. It's not helping anybody.
