That scenario isn't uncommon for Ohio + the LBJ. So your point is what?
No emojis here either. If you really want a laugh, look at the card at M[1] Saturday night.

I believe it should have been extended for 1 year. The stipulation being it was a one time deal. 46 years is a long partnership. It doesn't look like the Hambletonian Society valued it.

The Society doesn't think Gural will be getting a casino--and there are 23 mempers not just John Campbell

if they actually thought M1 had a shot at a casino-i am sure they would have been OK with the year by year agreement until the casino issue is finally resolved one way of the other

The Hambletonian will be in Indiana through 2029 and the odds of Gural getting his casino look very slim

seems as if many are upset about this reality

next August when the referendum gets gunned down before making it to the November ballot-maybe the truth will be acknowledged finally

in the meantime-hope is a good thing

If you don't think Campbell influenced the vote, you are more stupid than I know you are.

Well duh. HE IS the President so naturally he had some influence, BUT the point IS
he couldn't have and didn't make the decision alone.

Will they like a trailer at the Hambo as well with only 9 across at that 7/8 track or will the field be reduced to only 9 starters?

In 1984, the Hambletonian had 26 entrants. There were two divisions with 13 horses in each division, the top 5 made the final. 13 starters equals 3 second tier starters. Where was the 1984 Hambletonian raced at, one might ask. Answer: the Meadowlands. It was won by Historic Freight, driven by Ben Webster.

     Sincerely, Silent One

Oh look, another faggot that couldn't afford to live East of the Ohio river. You have no skin in the game. Why don't you just worry about how you can fit two cocks in your ass and the we will worry about harness racing.

Let's say they kept it at Meadowlands for another year. What would happen next year if nothing has changed at Meadowlands in regard to a casino and Gural would only go 1 year again, give him another year and keep repeating the process year after year.
The race should have a permanent home at Meadowlands while it's still open, but Gural shot himself in the foot by saying if he doesn't get a casino, he may have to close.

How long do you expect him to keep spending his own money?

He had a choice and he chose not to go more than 1 year, but now he's crying because he lost it, can't have it both ways.

tmbz1 Exactly. They called his bluff. To stay with the card analogy: 'Read 'em and weep'. Or chuckle warmly. ngc3
