BYE BYE, FE-LIE-SHA! Trump announces that his right-hand-liar, Karoline Leavitt, is OUT as White House Press Secretary!
Good riddance…
In a post on Truth Social, Trump announced that “Our wonderful White House Press Secretary, and one of my most trusted aides, Karoline Leavitt, will be departing her role at the end of the month so she can spend more time with her beautiful young children and family, a decision I totally understand and respect!”
“Karoline will now be one of my top outside advisors, and an influential voice within the Republican Party, as we work to defy History, and conclusively win the Midterm Elections. Karoline has been a real leader in [blah blah blah freedom liberty whatever].”
“Karoline has been one of the best White House Press Secretaries in the History of the Office. Thank you, Karoline, for a job well done! President DONALD J. TRUMP”
Karoline Leavitt will indeed be remembered in the History of the Office…as one of the most shameless, utterly contemptible liars to ever disgrace a White House podium – and there have been some doozies.
Whether it’s smearing the innocents murdered by ICE or telling reporters that Trump didn’t say something that he is quite clearly on video saying, there was no lie too big or no libel too gross to push for Karoline Leavitt.
She will now be going to spend time with her problematic age-gap husband, who is old enough to be her grandfather, and her young children.
We are confident we will see her begin some new kind of grift – a podcast about motherhood, perhaps? AI for babies? – in the coming weeks.
Don’t let the door hit you on the way out!

Last month, Leavitt sat by the president’s side at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner that was rescheduled after a gunman tried to rush into the annual event in April. That evening, which Trump spent insulting journalists in vicious and personal terms, will now serve as a valedictory metaphor for her tenure

It’s also somehow fitting that Leavitt announced her resignation in the middle of a storm over whether the White House used reporters on Air Force One as a decoy during the president’s secret flight from Turkey during a security scare last month.

Unless the president picks a replacement who is already deep in his inner circle, Leavitt’s successor may lack the authenticity that made her an authoritative voice for the administration. Most White Houses groom one or more deputy press secretaries for the top job, which typically grinds down incumbents within a few years. The lack of a visible succession plan for Leavitt will fuel speculation that Trump may just take on the entire task himself.

Karoline Leavitt just gave Trump the same notice you give a job you never planned on keeping.
For over a year and a half, this woman took every hit for Trump. Iran, tariffs, indictments, hostile press pools. She stood there and ate every single question without blinking. She JUST got back from maternity leave last month after having her second baby. And now, less than a month later, she’s suddenly bailing “to spend more time with her family”? Trump called her “one of my most trusted aides.” Trusted enough to keep for three more weeks, I guess.
Read the room. Midterms are in November. He needs a loyal mouthpiece running full spin mode more than ever right now, and instead his top messenger is walking out the door with a Walmart associate’s notice. If this was really about her kids, she had three months since May to make this transition quietly. She didn’t. She came back to the podium in July, kept doing briefings into August, and then just… stopped. Right when the biggest scandal of this administration exploded in the press.
And this is the part that stinks. This announcement dropped the SAME WEEK the catering truck story broke. Trump secretly slipped off Air Force One while staff and reporters sat there with their shades drawn, clueless, flying around as human decoys for a plane that might’ve been a target. Only a tiny handpicked circle knew the real plan. Her name isn’t in that circle. So pick your poison: either she got lied to and used like everyone else on that flight, or she knew the whole time and had to smile through briefings defending a stunt that put unwitting staff in danger. Neither one screams “loyal soldier gets a graceful exit.” That screams somebody got burned.
And her own deputy press secretary already quit days before the decoy story went public. Two people out of the same press shop in the same window this cover up started unraveling. That is not a coincidence. That is a pattern.
So no, I am not swallowing the “mommy needs a break” story whole. This is a woman who built an entire career on being underestimated and grinding through it anyway. She doesn’t walk away two months before the biggest electoral fight of his second term unless something behind that podium got too ugly even for her.
She’s suddenly an “outside advisor” instead of the person answering hard questions on camera. That demotion with a bow on it tells you everything you need to know. When the walls start closing in, you move the loyal face away from the cameras first.
She got left holding a decoy plane’s worth of trust. Now she’s sprinting for the exit before anyone even gets to ask her why.

Was she really left off the catering truck and on the other airplane as bait?
Could be the reason she quit. Anyway, adios to another scumbag liar.
