Tetrick pulls early...blows an EZ Hambo win

If you watch the last turn TT hangs Ranger

around the final turn....


I realize he didnot wish to get boxed in but in retrospect

he would have had the entire stretch to pass the leader..

and would have won EZ.

The hang job was equal to 2 lengths.

he lost by 1 inch or less

When the big $$ is on the line somehow Dunn always

wins...

You are wrong. If TT does not pull, Dex taps the brakes and gets a breather anround the turn and out sprints TT. He made the right move and lost by an inch.  I’ve always said, every inch matters.

That’s not really what I saw. They battled nearly the entire length of the stretch. Its not like he ran out of time to catch him. The smarter move from Dunn was making the lead up the backside and they went plenty honest fractions for TT to not want to pull till he did.

Apex showed a lot of guts.

around that turn by going wide..

thats why drivers try to go inside a pylon..

shortest point between 2 points is a straight line..

Got taken to school.  Tetrick supposed to follow Apex and move.  I personally saw it coming and couldn't bet enough on Apex cause you simply can't pass him.  Period.

there simply was no way Apex should have been 5-2 to Rangers 3-5. He was literally the #1 horse on the Hambo list the past 12 months

TT pulled when he did because Endurance was coming first over and would have locked him in if he didn't break a coffin bone and run. What's worse getting locked in with nowhere to go in a million-dollar race and possibly finishing third or pulling and getting beat by a nose? This time he got beat by a gamer and tougher animal. TT didn't panic, I'm sure he thought he had the stretch to wear down Apex and he wasn't able to.
