Who are you talking about?

I think he is referring to Schrupp--but that is my guess

SHRUPP IS THE PROVERBIAL "FLY IN THE OINTMENT " on the telecast! He continues to  attempt to come up with an "I told you so!" moment.  He has lost touch with the current in's and outs of the sport as a whole imo! Thank goodness for the MUTE button on my TV!!

I used to chat with Todd Shrupp when he was the "expert handicapper" at Calder in Florida. He used to talk horses from the winner's circle and then walk through the crowd chatting up the bettors. While he hit some obvious chalk horses then, he rarely ever touted a big price winner.

I met him at Monmouth about 15 years ago

it's like standing next to a refrigerator--he must be 6'6 and weight about 300

he is not the worst on air personality but I can see why some don't like him

I don't like his "go to " phrases

"the most important opinion is yours"

"picking them up and laying them down like a house of cards"

"rolling the dice along the pine"

He was pretty personable and the fans seem to like him. But the hardcore betters in the owners boxes and in the clubhouse on Calders 4th floor preferred picking their own losers. LOL!
