Bret Hanover raced (24) starts at 2 I believe.


The breed is everchanging....g oing faster takes more

out of these colts at 2...


their muscles and joints can actually wear out over time..

some fare better than others...

some are stronger but many fall by the wayside...


The sport and horses would do better if they didnot race at 2

but that willnot happen.

Actually very few really good 2 year olds...and when u get

to these top $$ Races.....they are flying....all out.

MLB pitchers used to go 8/9 innings..

now...5/6/7 innings max..
