Mike Merton slightly over Bruce Aldrich
Greg and Jimmy Devaux always aggressive
Jim Taggart solid day in day out
Kyle having a resurgence
TomMertom not consistent
Ralph Silvestri improving
At the end of day it’s what’s in between the shafts, but what’s in between the ears matters too
Just my humble opinion

Play Monti almost every day.  For me it's not about the "best" driver - it's about who gives me a consistent effort with their drives. Especially starting from the 5-hole in.
Since he's taken over the both the training along with his driving duties, Bruce Aldrich has been much more aggressive with his drives. Kyle DiBenedetto gives a solid effort most races.  Greg and Mike Merton are not as consistent as people think - especially on favorites. Jimmy Devaux gives a good effort but forgets the caliber of horses he's racing at Monti. These horses have one move - if you use them too early or hang them out too early - their toast. Tom Merton will give a good effort - from the inside posts, regardless of the odds. Jimmy Taggart is steady.
As with most 1/2 tracks, can't play the 6-7-8 horses, even if their a favorite. And no matter what - stay away from Shane Taggart, Winter Asher- Stalbaum and Adam Moeykins, if you value your money.

If we’re going on pure talent overall it would be Greg Merton. Michael is also great and so is Jimmy D but Greg is tops IMO

  • Sweet: Click on "My Messages", if you send someone a message click the box - "Save a copy in my outbox" and that will remain in your "Sent" folder.  No "Draft" feature but you could just send yourself what yo want to save like a book.
