Is this Hawthorne North?  The driving colony at the Aces is marginally better than what was at Hawthorne in the last few years.

Brady by far.  They are brothers.  I’ve had Brady as a partner on a few at Aces, and he also trained and drove a trotter I co-owned for a few years at Aces.

I love the facility and the racing is generally really competitive and exciting but this is season has been bordering an insane 60% winning favorites.  A bunch of trainers that usually would race at Aces every summer have gone out to the east coast since last year and have done well enough that they are staying put, so the Aces horse population is suffering as a result.

they are mostly transplants from Cal Expo

as far as great betting opportunities go----the pools are tiny and its all chalk-a common theme at most harness tracks

Excellent racing and great betting opportunities  tmbz1

does everything this gut posts, have to be full of shit? Last night at Running Aces, track of "great betting opportunities".

   1st  Big Keliane                     $2.20
   2nd Turbo Tinker                   $3.00
   3rd  Slipped Onmybeans        $2.40
   4th  Barry The Hacker           $4.00
   5th  Fancy Cruiser                 $5.80  (2nd choice)
6th  Bombi                           $9.40  (2nd choice, largest win price)
   7th  Alta Revelry N                $2.60
8th  Pd The Big Easy             $2.60
   9th  Handsome Harvey          $5.80

Seven favorites, five of which were odds on. Great betting opportunities, indeed. While were at it, harness racing is thriving.

that is why they hired Frank Drucker--he is accustomed to seeing a track all chalk and rarely seeing a winner pay more than $10

60% winning favorites even higher than Mohawk at 45%
