I am sorry to hear Beau has that lung infection. I remember when I owned my four at Pompano. The vet was always at the barn for something. A hoof infection. Or Colic. Or ulcers. Was always amazed how these strong beautiful specimens of perfection are so fragile. Best of luck to Beau!

Why is there always an underlying reason when a horse gets beat? Could it be he is just not as great as was hyped and stud value is the issue going forward? They will NEVER reveal the truth when millions are on the line. What if they say in 2 months he is just 'not the same horse' so we plan on retiring him to stud. He had 3 races and lost all 3 so NOW they check him out before the another big time race coming up?

These Canadian superstars and lung infections - last year it was Chantilly and this year BJ.  I think they even got it right around NA Cup time as well - must be something in that early summer Ontario air
