Exactly.

She's been horrible and physically unwell since her mishap last year. The gambled and it's pretty apparent that she doesn't want to do it anymore. The missed the breeding season and instead of treating her the right way and turning her out, they have elected to race her and pray for a miracle. For that, i lose some respect for the guy. I hope I'm wrong on this one and she does a 180 but I've seen many mares of quality and when they can't pick up their feet like she hasn't, it doesn't end well.

Hall of Fame trainers need to have big wins with pacers and TROTTERS. Name a trotter that Ryder has done good with. Same goes for his asshole buddy PELLING.

So by your standards, if Marcus Melander is nominated for the Hall of Fame someday which will probably happen, he doesn't deserve to be in since he only has trotters.

He's a hall of fame trainer like I am a brain surgeon

Quote
Christopher J. Ryder is one of the most respected and accomplished trainers in modern North American harness racing, particularly known for his exceptional skill with pacing fillies and mares. Born in New Zealand into a racing family, he transitioned from a background that included stints as a jockey and a beautician to establishing an elite stable in New Jersey after moving to the United States in 1989.  His career achievements place him at the absolute pinnacle of the sport:1. Hall of Fame InductionIn recognition of his decades of elite-level success, Ryder was elected to the U.S. Harness Racing Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2025, receiving his formal induction at Goshen, New York.  2. Major Milestone: 2,000 Career WinsOn June 11, 2026, Ryder officially hit the historic milestone of 2,000 training victories in North America since official USTA tracking began in 1991. Fittingly, the milestone win came at Harrah’s Philadelphia with a sophomore gelding named Piano Man, driven by his son, Patrick Ryder.  3. Financial and Statistical ImpactEarnings: He has trained the winners of over $57 million in lifetime purses.  Peak Consistency: His stable enjoyed an incredible run from 2022 through 2024, posting three consecutive seasons with earnings exceeding $3.4 million annually while maintaining a relatively compact, high-efficiency roster of starters.  4. Breeders Crowns and Dan Patch Champions  Ryder is a powerhouse on the Grand Circuit, having captured eight Breeders Crown titles and conditioned ten Dan Patch divisional award winners. Some of his most legendary champions include:  Twin B Joe Fresh: The breakout pacing mare who captured the ultimate honor as the 2024 U.S. Horse of the Year.  Bettor’s Wish: A double Dan Patch Award winner who earned over $2.6 million on the track before becoming a highly successful sire.  Party Girl Hill & Niki Hill: Dominant pacing fillies that tore through the stakes schedule; Party Girl Hill famously took on and defeated the boys in the 2020 Tattersalls Pace.  Put On A Show: A world champion, Hall of Fame inductee, and $2.4 million-earning pacing mare who won the 2010 Breeders Crown.  Art Major & McArdle: Two cornerstone colts that launched Ryder into the upper echelons of the sport in the early 2000s, combining for over $5 million in career earnings.  Miki And Minnie: A standout pacing mare who secured a rare dead-heat victory in the 2025 Breeders Crown and added a Grade 1 Roses Are Red title to her resume in June 2026.  Known for his patient, quiet, and detail-oriented approach to bringing out the best in young horses, Ryder's transition from a New Zealand transplant to a U.S. Hall of Famer marks one of the great success stories in modern standardbred racing.

Yep  tmbz1

The mare is a fat truck of a thing. It stands to reason she might need to round into form after a layoff.

If she's going to get back to herself, the next stake should tell us.

Beau Jangles finishes third in his NA Cup elimination but miraculously gets the best post position and you think it is above board. Then you accuse a trainer you did not even know was in the HOF of cheating. You are the big fraud here.

Kenny, you think there wasn't ever a modern era trainer in the HOF that never cheated, drugged up a horse, staged, fixed a race, intentionally put a horse on the track that had no chance of competing muchless winning - they all did at one time or another you crazy bitch  ngc3

Take at easy kid  ngc3, I started agreeing with some of your bs as it made sense was truthful too, but now we know you're as crazy as a sh!t house delusional rat  ;D

I know people who worked for that trainer and you don't because if you did, you would be embarrassed by your comment. Stick to gambling. You are not a horseman.

Mike C. makes very good points...

1 - Why confuse success, hof with being immaculate / while / no wrong doing which we're finding overwhelmingly is the case that both reside in the same world more than typically.

2 - He says he has first hand knowledge.

If you want to accuse him of having a personal grudge, you first have to dispute 1 is factual and you cannot, and prove the grudge.

Just because you say you know them certainly doesn't qualify as a creditable recommendation by any stretch.
