The usual suspects out there a month too early. Dont' know what got into Luc Blais as he's known for having half a brain but alas, another 3.5M up in smoke for the fifth straight year. I suspect Carl and Blake will have one of those hang around to keep them in the spotlight while the other 95% end up being worthless.
seriouslythey qualified on June 4and you suggest that that extra 6 days to June 10 will make some kind of difference, in what wayto be clear i am in no hurry to have horses qualifybut they have been training for 7 or 8 monthsat mohawk most pacers went around 1:59 and trotters around 2:01that really should not be too taxing on that track on what was a beautiful day
Maybe my point is lost. I don't think, generally speaking, the first qualifiers end up being the best horses. Some of that is different aspirations (if you're aiming for fairs, be ready to go in fair times, and early). But I am betting we are not seeing the best of the best right now.
