Tetrick, Zeron and Andrew McCarthy are at Pocono Saturday afternoon for PASS action and only Andrew is also at Mohawk on Saturday night. Todd McCarthy is at Northfield on Saturday night with Captain Albano.
Now that makes sense why JMac was the choice
Its a shame David Miller got hurt last month because it very well could of been him that got the call

seems incredible to me that zeron is not at mohawk on saturday !!
appears to be driving at the big m on saturday , and even there he does not have a drive in all the races
wtf !!

Agreed - he doesn’t seem to get the drives that other top drivers get.  My guess is he isn’t aggressive enough for most but I don’t think there is anyone I would rather have on an 8-1 shot in a big race.  He is so good at picking up a piece on horses that shouldn’t get one

NO driver should get any bonus for driving any horse! As was stated here, there are PLENTY of great drivers out there who could do fine!

It was the obvious choice with no Todd. And David is done up there unless some trotter comes along that is truly special. He can't hang with those guys anymore and he knows it. He will feast on the hacks in Ohio, sleep in his bed nightly and make a damn good living and good for him. He was truly a top five guy for the better part of two decades.

Odds on Mamba has pretty good breeding, especially on the Dam's side (as Honky Tonk is a full sister to Art Major, I believe); however Brandon Blvd (if the two should be considered on a par with eachother, racetrack-wise) will probably become the more valuable sire (if they both go to stud), and aside from any extra %, if Dexter stays with Brandon Blvd. for the rest of this season than he has a good chance of getting at least a lifetime breeding or possibly a syndicate share as a "tip"... as often happens in these situations.  I know several drivers whose wealth, over time, was created more by those kinds of situations than by their on-track commissions.
