Jangles is a very very good horse, but he will be beat this year
i believe he will race in the adios if possible to try and win the triple crown would be wild to see him at the jug if he is still undefeatedsure i know some folks dont like the jug and its not as good as it once was but where else does harness racing get 40,000 people out to an event
How many drivers have won both the Hambo and Meadowlands Pace? Not a lot. I hope McClure does it.
Why did his trainee Stockade Seelster scratch out of the LBJ? Is he allowed back in the LBJ? Doesn't Dr. Moore have enough money from the monopoly royalties?
And if Mamba enters and Jangles doesn't? Does that mean that Jangles is just a Canadian stakes champ, eh?
Setting all your drama aside, he probably already has a 15-race schedule mapped out, subject to change and depending on his health. There's no way he's skipping the Meadowlands Pace, Little Brown Jug or Breeders Crown. If I had to predict, I think he'll run the 2nd week of the Red Mile Grand Circuit meet and maybe a race at Hoosier later in the year. Going back to last year, I think he wound up over racing Prince Hal Hanover and by the end of the year he was toast. I doubt he'll do the same with Beau Jangles.
