Wow that horse looks pretty impressive. Not as big as Jangles, but pretty darn fast, there ya go. Looks like some major competition coming from that guy

i believe he will race in the adios if possible to try and win the triple crown
would be wild to see him at the jug if he is still undefeated
sure i know some folks dont like the jug and its not as good as it once was but where else does harness racing get 40,000 people out to an event
Hate to break it to ya brown jug, but the Adios isn't part of the triple crown
Messenger
Cane Pace
LBJ
One of many things wrong with harness racing IMHO
Not enough emphasis on the triple crown races
TBred racing understands this, in fact in the very near future the Preakness will not be 2 weeks after the Derby.

thanks for the correction jt
have to admit, i completely forget about the messenger stakes
and yes should be more focus on the triple crown races
what do you think about making the triple crown have the following races
meadowlands pace, na cup, lbj
i think those are now the big 3  and most relevant

He will go undefeated racing against that pile of shit up there. And I suspect because he's had the easiest schedule since Beach, he might well be able to ship south a couple of times and be great on those days as well. It's not like yesteryear when every race would be contested and long travel was part of the deal.

not moores first rodeo
they will play it smart
if he starts in 3 legs of the oss gold and the final and wins them all that is about $350k cdn and they are glorified qualifiers with no shipping
and then he has the na cup in mid june at mohawk
after that likely the  meadowlands pace and breeders crown for sure and hopefully the lbj
beyond that there is the adios, cane.messenger, will see how many of those they enter

How many drivers have won both the Hambo and Meadowlands Pace?  Not a lot.  I hope McClure does it.

I think it is more then you might think.
My fast count was 11 different drivers, but not all in the same year.
Going back to George Sholty who won the 1979 Meadowlands pace with Sonsam and The 1979 Hambo with Legend Hanover.
I am just an old horse trainer still going around in circles. Sometimes Fast. Sometimes Half-Fast.
