I like to think that I help contribute to keeping the religion and politics down to a bearable amount before I have to scramble brains 

I was doing Japan last at 2am, woke up to Dubai this morning, GP, OAK, 4 KYD prep races, Mohawk and BigM tonight...you're preaching to the choir.

I am less involved on the gambling side; I will watch most any racing and am interested in a lot of equine sports, and am involved on the breeding and racing of harness horses.

It just gets tiresome wanting to talk harness racing when getting sidetrack by politics and personal vendettas. There's not a thread on here talking about 2-coming-3yos and where we all think they're going to land this year, which seems like what people really interested in the sport would want to talk about..but the topics lately mostly end up with folks slinging shit at each other.

Something is better than nothing - like you say, we're stuck with each other, bc to date I've not found a better forum - but lately it's a bit much.
