How far back are you looking?
The city wasn't exactly paradise under Giuliani and Bloomberg, who was elected as a Republican. The murder rate stayed low after Bloomberg left.
The problems of services and homelessness? that can has been kicked down the road for a very long time.
Could the Republicans have done any better?
Couldnt get a viable candidate on the ballot last 3 elections.
Lets stop politicizing everything and just fix stuff.

Sauce on top of the cheese, wtf is that, some drunk asshole had their cheese slide off and they brushed it off and put it on upside down and it was born 

Deep dish crust is awesome, great Wisconsin cheese, fresh basil yum, but that sauce is a killer fucker.  On it's own great sauce, but agida acido, it's an infamnia.
