not sure if I recall this correct....didn't one of the Biers have a nice horse named Bandolito about 10-15 years ago?

.... might have won like 8-10 in a row mostly at Dover running through his conditions

believe  it was Sean

great, thanks tmbz1

my memory isn't completely shot yet--i had bet him several times consecutively but the prices were short

just found this....

Bandolito was a highly accomplished Standardbred pacer in the mid-2010s, best known as a fast, high-class competitor primarily on the Delaware circuit. He was a brown gelding sired by Ponder out of Sodys Home Brew.
Key Facts and Highlights
Trainer/Driver: Daryl Bier trained and frequently drove Bandolito.
Fastest of 2015: In March 2015, Bandolito recorded a 1:48.1 mile at Dover Downs, which was the fastest time in North America at that point in the season.
Record Match: On April 3, 2014, he equaled the all-track record at Dover Downs with a 1:48 victory.
Career Performance: He was known for his incredible speed, with Bier once noting he had "gears I've never seen". Throughout his career, he frequently won in the Open Pace and Delaware Special classes.
End of Career: Following a difficult trip in the Molson Pace on May 30, 2015, Bandolito sustained a spiral fracture in a training incident and was put down.

Don't know if you're aware or not but Darryl died of a heart attack in 2024 at age 57.

Correct. Daryl died two years ago. Daryl was a real character growing up. LOL. He wasn't the hardest working guy when he was working for his dad at the Meadowlands. Daryl had major accident about 10 years before he died and broke his pelvis, several ribs, and his back. He struggled for for a long time and was virtually forced to retire around 2017 or so after unsuccessful major back surgery. A couple of years later, he went for another surgery which was successful, and he was able to return to work. His first job back was actually training for Tony Alagna. He hooked up with Randy Ross and Randy gave him two horses. He and Jenny had three kids.

I don't know. I heard a rumor they were separated at one time, but I never heard anything from either of them first-hand. I do know when he came back to race at the Meadowlands, she was with him. Not sure what that means about their relationship, LOL.
