Are they going to walk him off the property in handcuffs tonight?
He is just making a mockery of the industry.  If you think he is just a great trainer and driver you are naive.
SKEWEY N parked the mile and ran off. Only time he loses a race he comes in second to his other horse.
It won't be long til they boot him from there too.

If someone isn't listening to his calls and going thru his mail the feds aren't doing their jobs.  PATRIOT ACT !

Or maybe he is the best trainer ever in the history of training.

They all get caught sooner or later. I'd just avoid that place like the plague. Then they'll have to do something.

i feel like the driving colony is really bad at Northfield. forget about winning on others. just look at his stable and how they win. and how often they win. it really isn't that they all win it's the way they do it.

You can't cherry pick from the statistics just to suit your narrative.

That's like me saying forget all his drives for his own stable and just use the remaining stats to show how much he kicks everyone else's ass.

Actually...forget all his drives for his own stable and just use the remaining stats, and it does show much he's kicking everyone else's ass

Sparks is on to something

From Grok

Overall Influence
The driver’s weight has a moderate influence on speed—enough that trainers often select lighter drivers for marginal advantages in high-stakes races, but not as dominant as horse ability, gait efficiency (trot vs. pace), track conditions, or driver skill. A 10–20 lb difference might slow a horse by fractions of a second to a full second over a mile, potentially deciding close finishes, while larger swings (30+ lbs) could be more pronounced.
If the horse is elite and the race is tightly contested, minimizing pulled weight (via lighter driver or optimized sulky) can meaningfully boost speed.

The reality is that 80% of all harness drivers are just there.  As in, they were born into a game that is unknown to 99.5% of all humanity and thus they have a job.  They could, and should, be replaced by anyone with more talent, both physical and mental.  Noble just highlights this fact.  He actually could compete in an open market.  4 out of 5 could not.  Everyone loves to think their kid should start, but unless it is a small town, the best players play.
